Beautiful park. Well laid out caravans and touring Park area. Shop should be closer to caravans. If you need anything it's way too far to walk for some. If you get in car you may aswell use the local supermarket. Which we did. Your losing revenue . Bar and restaurant nice. Food was OK. We would of liked to take a boat out or do something. But there was noone around... Very quiet. I certainly wasn't to go walking about trying to look for people to ask. I think you need more of a visual set up so people know where to go or who to ask about doing things on the lake.. It just seemed like the local regulars where the ones that could use the lake. And leave dogs barking in there cars for ages whilst the are on the lake etc... Beautiful setting and lovely pitches. Toilets could be attended to more often. But they are good and large enough. As shower blocks go they are sufficient.

Great place to come and have fun with the kids. They seem to have ramped up the prices of everything though to make more money which is poor. Charging for putting each gazebo up, and water launches, it’s turning out to be very expensive. For our parents to pop in over two days while they stayed in Tewkesbury they were Charged £40 just for parking and coming to our tent. Hire prices have gone up a lot, it’s a pity as it’s so nice here.

The lake itself is lovely and was great to see so many people having fun. However we camped up in the top field near reception and had a good few days but luckily on the final day around 100+ people turned up being allowed to pitch where they wanted it turned into what looked like a travellers field with countless kids running around tents even whilst we were sat eating or drinking they would run between us and we were glad to be gone. There wasn’t enough toilets and showers for the numbers on site. We went down to eat a couple times during the trip and had a mixed experience on the Monday which was very quiet the food was great however the busy Friday cold food was served but they did sort out, the staff seemed very young and maybe needed some older shoulders to guide them?! Overall it was a nice trip away but wouldn’t comeback.

I stayed in a caravan so didn't use a room. It is a friendly, clean, happy place. The lake is lovely (clubhouse sells food and drink with some tables overlooking the lake) even if you aren't into all the watersports available.

There were a few pros and cons to our stay. I have been coming here since I was a child but it has gone downhill. Pros - Lovely lake and loved the new conservatory looking over the lake. Cons - The place wasn’t maintained well, overgrown bushes, toilet/shower blocks were muddy, some glass found on one of the paths. A family member visited us for 2 hours and they were charged £20! It feels very money oriented nowadays and the park was crammed.

We were three nights in this beautiful place and I can recommend. Toilets as clean considering the number of people, hot water in the showers. A place to wash dishes with hot water, quite easy access to the lake, despite the tents set up on the pitch. If someone wants to relax there in silence, I do not recommend places close to the playground, we had our place there. On the first day after arrival, we were delighted with this place. Unfortunately, on the next day a family with several children pitched tents near us. And the children played close to our camper. The children were naughty, very loud, had bad words.. I have nothing against children playing but they were completely unsupervised and other parents pointed out to them several times that they behaved badly. Kids have no respect for anything, a few of them tried to break the young trees that grow there. They played with balloons filling them with water, balloons burst and rubber leftovers from these balloons were left everywhere. For quite a long time they played at the outside taps and the water poured constantly, flooding the place next to them. Someone pointed out to them that they were wasting water and that they should not do so, but it did not help.. I understand that parents are on vacation and want to rest, but they should probably take responsibility for their children's behavior and teach them to behave better. As for the place, I have no objections

Stayed for 4 nights and it was nice clean lodge with plenty of shops nearby. The only downside is only room for one car parking at the lodge, this means if you are a family traveling in 2 cars then the other car has to park on the car park. This is not ideal specially with kids.
